Responsibilities
- Design and develop data migration scripts, programs, and workflows.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems to target platforms.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with business users and data owners to understand data definitions and rules.
- Identify data quality issues and propose remediation solutions.
- Support migration testing cycles including dry runs, UAT, and production migration.
- Document migration logic, mappings, and reconciliation reports.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data migration and ETL development in the financial services or banking industry.
- Excellent SQL skills and experience handling large datasets.
- Experience with relational databases and/or data warehouses.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and audit controls.
- Experience working with legacy systems and complex data models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
