Base Salary

$143k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Work across the full stack, from user experiences to backend services, with direct impact on real users.
  • Perform platform engineering, MLOps, systems-level, and performance-critical work.
  • Own major product areas and drive features end-to-end.
  • Establish code standards and team-wide practices that improve product quality and engineering culture.
  • Participate in peer review and technical reasoning to establish shared software engineering standards.
  • Develop domain expertise and lead broader technical initiatives.
  • Ship quickly in an early-stage environment while adapting to user-testing feedback.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science and 5+ years of industry experience, or equivalent work experience, is required.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with common runtimes and build tools are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable full-stack TypeScript projects, services, and SDKs is required.
  • Expertise with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, Svelte, or Angular is required.
  • Backend API experience in strongly typed languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, or C# is required.
  • Experience designing REST, RPC, or GraphQL APIs and understanding strong API design is required.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals covering networking, web technologies, distributed systems, object-oriented programming, functional programming, and software architecture are required.
  • Deep experience with at least one relational and one non-relational database and understanding of their data modeling differences are required.
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and the ability to evaluate infrastructure and services are required.
  • Understanding of DevOps/SRE principles, CI/CD, deployment environments, infrastructure as code, telemetry, observability, and system resource management is required.
  • Working knowledge of Git and Docker/containers is required.
  • Preferred experience includes three.js, browser-based 3D rendering, LLMs, agentic systems, Python 3, data engineering, MLOps, TanStack tools, shadcn/ui, Tailwind, Hono, tRPC, C++, CMake, CUDA, CAD, CAM, or graphics APIs.
  • Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals lawfully admitted as refugees or granted asylum due to export control requirements.
