Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality backend software within agreed timelines while proposing solutions and evaluating technical trade-offs.
- Deliver scalable and maintainable solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Understand product features and KPIs and collaborate with the Product Manager to guide product development.
- Participate in an on-call environment, respond to high-priority issues, and escalate when appropriate.
- Share knowledge and take shared ownership of software design decisions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Ability to work with or become open to Node.js, TypeScript, Google Cloud Platform, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong focus on code quality, constructive feedback, and detailed understanding of technical work.
- Ability to solve complex and unfamiliar problems independently while involving the appropriate teammates when needed.
- Genuine interest in investments and commitment to applying sound engineering practices.
