Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement optimization algorithms for resource allocation, scheduling, routing, and mission planning.
Apply classical optimization techniques to model and explore novel approaches.
Utilize GenAI tools to rapidly prototype and test algorithmic solutions.
Develop robust data models and efficient data pipelines for optimization problems.
Collaborate with teams to integrate optimization engines into defense systems.
Perform testing, validation, and performance analysis of optimization solutions.
Participate in the entire Software Development Lifecycle from design to deployment.
Contribute to R&D efforts and technical documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience in software development focused on optimization.
Experience solving optimization problems in defense, transportation, or logistics.
Expert proficiency in Python for scientific computing.
Strong understanding of classical optimization algorithms.
Hands-on experience with optimization libraries and solvers.
Solid experience with data modeling and algorithms.
Experience using GenAI tools for software development.
Proficiency in numerical computing libraries like NumPy and SciPy.
Ability to develop software on Linux-based systems.
Eligible for a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
