Responsibilities
- Build and own Apollo’s security programme, including the security roadmap, risk assessments, and overall security posture.
- Serve as the primary security point of contact for partner security teams and maintain technical documentation on Apollo’s security practices.
- Define security principles and AppSec strategy and build secure engineering processes and paved roads.
- Establish policies for the use of AI tools, agents, integrations, and associated data access.
- Select, implement, manage, and automate security controls covering endpoint, email, identity, provisioning, and deprovisioning operations.
- Lead ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification efforts as needed.
- Administer Google Workspace and manage organisation-wide access, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in security engineering, security operations, or a related technical security role.
- Track record of building buy-in for security practices and earning trust from non-security stakeholders.
- Experience building or significantly maturing a security programme.
- Familiarity with cloud security, including AWS IAM, networking, and infrastructure review.
- Experience with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools such as Kandji or Jamf and with identity and access management.
- Experience administering Google Workspace or an equivalent platform.
- Interest in Apollo’s AI safety mission.
- Preferred: ability to review Terraform infrastructure-as-code and Python application code for security issues.
- Preferred: experience serving as a security contact for external partners or customers.
- Preferred: demonstrated interest in AI safety through work, coursework, or research.
