Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve enterprise-scale cloud architectures primarily within AWS.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution designs.
  • Define architecture standards, best practices, governance frameworks, integration patterns, API strategies, authentication mechanisms, and security models.
  • Create high-level and low-level designs spanning applications, infrastructure, networking, APIs, and cloud services.
  • Lead cloud transformation and modernization initiatives and support technical roadmap planning and technology evaluation.
  • Guide Infrastructure as Code implementation using Terraform.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership on complex solution design decisions.
  • Mentor engineers and provide architectural guidance across development, platform, and DevOps teams.
  • Partner with project managers, stakeholders, and customers to support successful solution delivery and adoption.
  • Review automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering practices to promote DevOps excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and governing complex cloud solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Deep AWS and Infrastructure as Code expertise, including hands-on Terraform experience.
  • Experience designing end-to-end solutions across applications, infrastructure, networking, security, APIs, and data platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture principles, cloud-native design patterns, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with REST APIs, API Security, OAuth, SSO, Microservices, and Micro Frontend architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD automation, and GitLab-based configuration management.
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, AWS Lambda, and system integration automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, cloud security, cloud networking, observability, and monitoring.
  • Experience with CloudWatch and Datadog is expected within the monitoring and observability background.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders, lead technical discussions, and mentor engineering teams.
  • Experience with Jenkins, OpenShift, ArgoCD, multi-cloud environments, enterprise cloud transformation, customer-facing architecture or consulting, platform engineering, principal engineering, or DevOps leadership is a plus.
  • Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or MCP-based solutions is a plus.
