Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain large, complex latency-sensitive trading products.
  • Optimize systems for ultra-low-latency and high-throughput processing.
  • Build execution gateways and interfaces to exchanges and dark pools.
  • Implement fault-tolerant systems and recovery mechanisms.
  • Profile, benchmark, and tune JVM, garbage collection, and networking performance.
  • Design and deliver high-quality software across development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and support.
  • Collaborate on architecture, design decisions, code reviews, requirements, and project prioritization.
  • Provide L3 production support, application testing, issue resolution, and maintenance releases.
  • Work with global development, QA, support, product, stakeholder, and client teams.
  • Contribute to software delivery best practices and serve as a technical and functional contact point.

Requirements

  • 15–18 years of professional experience.
  • B.E., B.Tech, MCA, or M.Tech qualification.
  • Good understanding of investment banking, capital markets, and equity trading markets, including compliance considerations.
  • Experience with exchange connectivity, FIX protocols, trading systems, or complex event processing.
  • Strong Core Java, high-performance messaging, multithreading, memory management, networking, and performance optimization skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Java NIO, concurrency, lock-free data structures, and garbage-collection tuning.
  • Experience with memory-mapped files, off-heap storage, or zero-copy I/O.
  • Proven experience building low-latency trading systems or real-time data pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, initiative, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, Aeron, or Chronicle Queue is a plus.
  • Exposure to C, C++, FPGA, or Verilog is a plus.
  • Python experience is desired.
