Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services and infrastructure for AI Platform products.
- Write high-quality production code with a focus on maintainability and performance.
- Architect and evolve distributed systems for real-time interactions and secure data workflows.
- Build and extend cloud-native infrastructure across core services and observability layers.
- Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Build and operate Kubernetes/EKS-based services and manage deployment strategies.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and engineering productivity systems.
- Build and maintain asynchronous and event-driven systems.
- Design and evolve relational and NoSQL data models.
- Build and maintain observability across metrics and logs.
- Apply secure-by-default engineering practices.
- Mentor engineers through code and design reviews.
- Drive technical decisions to improve platform reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Deep hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure in production environments.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code workflows like Terraform.
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and modern deployment practices.
- Experience designing or extending CI/CD pipelines in production.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservice communication.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database design.
- Strong observability and production-debugging skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
