Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and software needs, analyze systems and workflows, and convert requirements into feasible designs.
- Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain software programs and modules for operating systems or applications.
- Automate software validation, design and execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure code quality.
- Perform root-cause analysis, improve system performance and availability, and support software installation or modification activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and project status updates.
- Coordinate with project, functional, systems analysis, and engineering teams on requirements, progress, interfaces, and specifications.
- Capture client clarifications, respond to customer requests, gather feedback, and support quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, reporting, and adherence to project release schedules.
- Participate in continuing education and training to learn programming languages and current best practices.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in software design, development, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation is required by the role description.
- Ability to analyze requirements, systems flow, data usage, work processes, and software feasibility.
- Ability to develop automated validation processes and execute software test scenarios.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with clients, project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, and engineering staff.
- Ability to produce accurate technical documentation, reports, and project status updates.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers through email, fault tracking, voice calls, and other interactions.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, training, and skill-upgrading certifications.
