Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end and full-stack services with guidance, emphasizing scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
- Build .NET back-end services and contribute to GraphQL and REST API layers.
- Write and optimize data access patterns using SQL and SQL Server.
- Contribute to front-end work in React/Next.js when needed.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests; identify and resolve defects and performance issues.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, QA teams, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Take ownership of features or projects from concept through completion with appropriate guidance.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, process improvements, and technical enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0–2 years of software engineering experience, including foundational experience through internships, projects, coursework, or early professional work.
- Some exposure to building scalable services with .NET and interest in learning GraphQL and REST API design.
- Familiarity with relational data modeling and SQL Server; CMS experience, particularly Optimizely, is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
- Basic familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, ownership, accountability, and continuous-learning skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and deliver secure, maintainable, high-quality software.
