Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and scale core exchange infrastructure including order matching and trade execution algorithms.
- Develop fast and reliable APIs and data feeds for clients using REST, FIX, and WebSockets.
- Design robust clearing infrastructure and manage position and margining systems.
- Drive technical relationships with customers such as market makers and traders.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in databases and internal services.
- Conduct rigorous testing of systems to ensure reliability under pressure.
- Innovate new contract types and mechanics for prediction markets.
- Exercise autonomy in decision-making and take ownership of outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of engineering experience with a focus on high-performance, low-latency systems.
- Strong command of performant programming languages such as C, Rust, C++, Go, or Java.
- Product-minded with the ability to scope projects and make informed tradeoffs.
- Experience thriving in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Background in TradeFi, prediction markets, crypto exchange infrastructure, or SOR.
