Responsibilities
- Design and build Operations-specific workflow tooling, automation, dashboards, and metrics systems.
- Define and implement prioritized initiatives with the Operations product team and operational groups.
- Contribute to and enhance Operations frameworks that improve efficiency and scalability.
- Own complex systems from scoping through implementation and connect outputs to existing technology infrastructure.
- Translate business concepts into technical and system designs and work with business and technology partners.
- Serve as a liaison between technology and business teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Implement and maintain business systems for information and data management.
- Support resource-allocation decision-making and operational economics through technology solutions.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience with Python, Java, and C++ across Operations systems, user interfaces, and dashboards.
- Background understanding of financial products and their product lifecycle.
- Prior experience in sell-side or buy-side strat or technology teams.
- Strong SQL skills and experience handling large financial datasets.
- Proven ability to own and drive end-to-end delivery of complex systems.
- Familiarity with React or Angular and/or Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience liaising between technology and business teams and aligning solutions with business goals.
- Experience implementing and maintaining business systems for information and data management.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with strong written and verbal communication, numeracy, and analytical skills.
- Preferred experience includes working alongside financing trading desks or within Operations or the infrastructure side of the business.
