Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack cloud applications that monitor and control robot fleets.
- Develop internal and customer-facing tools for robot command, control, monitoring, analytics, fleet management, and progress tracking.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs for large-scale streaming and historical robot deployment data.
- Develop real-time frontend interfaces with 3D and spatial views of robot state and site progress.
- Build tools for low-bandwidth remote oversight using live video and telemetry streams.
- Design and manage data pipelines, storage, and querying systems for fleet and sensor data.
- Build and integrate agentic tools for anomaly detection, monitoring, triage, and AI-assisted decision support.
- Improve reliability, scalability, and observability across distributed systems.
- Debug field issues and document work for team adoption.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience building production-grade cloud applications and backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, with comfort using React or a similar frontend framework.
- Experience with large-scale data infrastructure, including streaming pipelines, message queues, or distributed data stores.
- Experience with agentic AI systems, LLM-based tooling, or autonomous decision-making pipelines.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience delivering complete software products from requirements through field support.
- Ability to take ownership with light supervision and communicate decisions clearly.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Familiarity with robotics or physical AI applications is a plus.
- Experience with physical AI data is a plus.
- Experience with Rust or Go is a plus.
