Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain distributed, scalable, secure, stable, and performant software for advertising billing, budgeting, payments, promotions, and advertiser experience.
  • Develop backend applications and customer-facing front-end applications that integrate with advertising, billing, budgeting, and downstream ad-serving systems.
  • Identify and mitigate design risks early to increase backend feature implementation speed.
  • Collaborate with customers, designers, product managers, stakeholders, and peers on feature ideas and software development.
  • Manage dependencies and optimize application resource usage, including memory, CPU, caching, and customer device impact.
  • Build systems capable of supporting 10x traffic growth, high availability, minimal downtime, and millisecond-level service expectations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
