Responsibilities
- Lead technical projects and own significant scope within the Insurance team.
- Build platforms, applications, and tools using expertise in distributed systems.
- Cultivate innovation and growth by driving cross-collaboration across teams.
- Ensure code quality and operational excellence as a player/coach.
- Scale distributed applications and make architectural trade-offs.
- Collaborate with design, product, data science, and research teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, GraphQL, Python, Go, Rust, C/C++/C#.
- Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience analyzing data sets to identify gaps and provide insights.
- Proficient in designing high-performance systems and SQL.
- Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on technical leadership experience.
- Expertise in architecting solutions to ambiguous problems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
