Base Salary
$132k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build platforms, processes, automation capabilities, and digital pipelines that accelerate software delivery.
- Deploy and manage application lifecycles, cloud infrastructure, production systems, and infrastructure resources.
- Improve system architecture, platform reliability, resilience, service quality, and operational performance.
- Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies and cloud services while improving existing technology processes.
- Help teams adopt AI development tools including GitHub Copilot, agentic coding, Cursor, and Claude Code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in test and production environments.
- Mentor and train DevOps engineers and create demonstrations of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, system engineers, product management, quality organizations, and executive leadership.
- Review solutions, dependencies, actions, and timelines in internal meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience or master’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of scripting language development experience using Bash.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud resources and services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Experience deploying and managing production systems on cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with API integration, microservices, containers, virtualization technologies, and continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Detailed understanding of networking at all layers and the broader web stack, including protocols and web server optimization.
- Experience with test-driven development and related engineering practices.
- Advanced Linux administration and programming skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with MV frameworks and PowerShell or .NET pipelines is preferred.
- Proven AI development experience and customer-facing management skills.
- Ability to interpret customer business needs, make data-driven decisions, and work collaboratively under agile principles.
