Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through their entire product journey from implementation to production deployment.
- Build custom demos and prototypes to showcase AssemblyAI's models.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements.
- Assist with competitive evaluations and provide benchmarks.
- Troubleshoot production issues for customers using APIs.
- Provide technical guidance on architecture and best practices.
- Create proofs-of-concept demonstrating Speech AI capabilities.
- Travel to customer sites for technical workshops and support.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to internal teams.
- Contribute to documentation and example code for developers.
- Identify patterns in customer issues and collaborate with Engineering.
- Participate in team off-sites to align on strategy.
- Stay current on AI/ML developments and experiment with new use cases.
- Build and maintain an open-source repository of demos.
- Represent AssemblyAI at conferences and industry events.
Requirements
- Located in or willing to relocate to New York City or San Francisco.
- 4+ years of customer-facing experience in technical environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with web APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data streaming.
- Understanding of audio fundamentals or willingness to learn.
- Ability to leverage AI tools creatively for rapid development.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to debug unfamiliar codebases.
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced work.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
