Responsibilities
- Support partner system-on-chip board bring-up and third-party API integration.
- Develop and maintain Roku OS features and related code.
- Design scalable solutions to support onboarding new factories.
- Support QA and channel certification teams through end-to-end product development and release cycles.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools and automation to improve development workflows when applicable.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Excellent C/C++ coding skills; modern C++ expertise is preferred.
- Experience developing and debugging on Linux-based embedded platforms.
- Understanding of Linux kernel concepts, multithreading primitives, Linux tools, libraries, and open-source development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant field.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
