Base Salary

$142k - $183k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop and support software engineering solutions using Java and the Spring/Spring Boot framework.
Design and work with RESTful and SOAP services, SQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
Use Git source control and the Git flow branching model.
Write automated tests and work with common data formats and data stores as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, computer information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field, or the stated equivalent experience background.
At least 5 years of direct software engineering or related Java development experience.
Proficiency with Java, Git, Git flow branching, Spring/Spring Boot, SQL, and RESTful service design.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka, plus familiarity with modern DevOps practices and automated testing.
Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include payments or ecommerce experience, recent AWS cloud experience, SOAP services, XML, JSON, YAML, and NoSQL databases such as Redis, HBase, or Aerospike.
Fintech experience is highly beneficial.
