Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, maintain, test, and troubleshoot software programs and IT applications.
- Support Connected Factories ticket resolution, system configuration, testing, validation, and application deployments across global manufacturing sites.
- Validate tags, data quality, and data integrity with manufacturing sites.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, user guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing during and after deployments.
- Monitor application performance and resolve operational issues reported by users.
- Perform secure coding, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, systems testing, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Track and document deployment progress, issues, resolutions, support activities, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with global and cross-functional stakeholders to support Connected Factories implementation and adoption.
Requirements
- A college or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related subject, or relevant equivalent experience.
- Three to five years of relevant work experience.
- Required expertise with Ignition 8.1, SQL, and Python programming.
- Knowledge of manufacturing IoT connectivity protocols such as OPC, MQTT, and Modbus.
- Knowledge of controls and IT networks.
- Experience with Connected Factories, smart manufacturing, or digital manufacturing initiatives.
- Industrial engineering and manufacturing or digital manufacturing engineering experience are beneficial; SCADA, PLC, and manufacturing dashboard experience such as OEE is an advantage.
- Licensing may be required for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
