Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and enhancement of conflation tools for ArcGIS Pro.
- Build tools using algorithms for efficient data reconciliation.
- Collaborate in a team environment to deliver quality software.
- Utilize computational geometry techniques for reliable results.
- Participate in research and development of new ideas.
- Implement strategies for scalability with large data volumes.
- Explore optimization approaches to improve accuracy.
- Investigate hybrid methods for conflation with additional data sources.
- Contribute to the development of an integrated conflation management system.
- Follow design patterns and methodologies using C++.
- Analyze and fix bugs and performance issues.
- Run tests to ensure high-quality development.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in C/C++/C# or related software development languages.
- Firm understanding of object-oriented design and data structures.
- Experience with computational geometry and algorithms.
- Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions.
- Knowledge to solve complex spatial problems.
- Familiarity with progressive and optimization approaches.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and parallel processing.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computational Science, Mathematics, or related field.
