Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, enhance, and provide managed services for Blue Yonder WMS products and related integrations.
- Conduct functional analysis sessions and develop solutions aligned with customer business and technical needs.
- Perform environment setup, software installation, report and label generation, troubleshooting, system testing, quality assurance, design review, and programming.
- Serve as a technical liaison among project managers, solution architects, product and development teams, support services, and customer stakeholders.
- Support integrations between WMS and ERP/host, TMS, WLM, transportation and tracking, parcel, voice, material handling, ASRS, and third-party systems.
- Resolve complex issues using trace files and provide guidance to support services on functional issues.
- Conduct customer knowledge transfer and help stabilize systems after go-live and achieve value realization.
- Contribute to consulting-practice growth through practice aids, databases, and best-practice collateral.
- Comply with project methodology, time and expense reporting, travel procedures, and applicable internal and external policies.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of corporate experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- Expertise in functional WMS configuration, technical integration, quality assurance, system testing, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience configuring WMS products, preferably JDA or RedPrairie WMS.
- Knowledge of WMS interfaces with ERP/host, TMS, WLM, transportation and tracking, parcel, and third-party systems.
- Knowledge of integration with voice, material handling, and ASRS systems.
- In-depth knowledge of resolving issues through trace files and the ability to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration and middleware technologies, applications, database structures, and functional platforms and infrastructures.
- Strong customer, partner, and consultant relationship-building skills, along with communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, provide proactive support, and guide teams through specialized functional questions.
- Travel readiness based on business needs.
