Responsibilities
- Build and improve reusable GitHub Actions workflows, actions, repository templates, and automation solutions.
- Build and introduce AI-assisted and agentic engineering workflows on GitHub.
- Help build and maintain GitHub Actions runners, reusable actions, and workflows with platform teams.
- Improve GitHub usage, identify automation opportunities, and simplify development workflows.
- Keep workflows and integrations secure, reliable, and maintainable while helping teams resolve issues.
- Share documentation, knowledge, and practical examples to support adoption and extension of developer tooling.
- Drive technical initiatives independently from design through implementation and influence technical decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, CI/CD, or a closely related engineering role.
- Strong hands-on experience designing complex GitHub and GitHub Actions workflows, reusable actions, and automation solutions.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles, pipeline architecture, software delivery lifecycles, Application Security, DevSecOps, and secure software delivery.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and container-based environments.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and pipeline automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms, cloud-native services, developer tooling, automation, and integrations.
- Strong scripting or software development skills using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Practical knowledge or experience with AI-assisted development tools, AI-powered automation, or agentic engineering workflows.
- Experience with enterprise-scale or in-house engineering systems and collaboration across multiple development teams.
- Ability to work independently, take technical ownership, make informed engineering decisions, and drive initiatives from design through implementation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.
