Responsibilities
- Shape SAP solutions during early lifecycle activities, including estimates and commercial proposals.
- Produce end-to-end SAP architectures covering functional design, technical architecture, integration, data and security.
- Lead solution design across SAP S/4HANA, ECC and associated SAP platforms and services.
- Advise clients on SAP best practices, deployment options and target architectures.
- Own architecture decisions, governance, technical risks, issues and delivery controls.
- Coordinate dependencies across SAP modules, non-SAP systems and third-party products.
- Work with delivery managers, functional leads, technical teams, clients, SAP and other partners to deliver solutions into live operation.
- Lead and set direction for multidisciplinary delivery teams while contributing to SAP and architecture communities.
Requirements
- Strong SAP architecture experience and credibility with senior stakeholders in complex or regulated environments.
- Ability to obtain UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance, including continuous UK residence for the last five years.
- Demonstrable experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA PCE or on-premise brownfield, greenfield or hybrid transformations.
- Strong understanding of SAP functional domains such as Finance, Contract Accounting and PSCD/Utilities, with experience designing cross-functional solutions.
- Experience with SAP technical architecture, landscape design, security, identity management, data management, networks, environments, transport strategy and non-functional requirements.
- Experience integrating SAP with enterprise ecosystems using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, middleware or event-driven approaches.
- Understanding of SAP data migration, data quality and cutover planning.
- Experience with modern delivery approaches, on-premise, cloud and hybrid SAP environments, and SAP RISE.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary delivery teams and managing technical deliverables, stakeholders, risks and priorities.
- Strong communication, decision-making, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills, including experience with proposals and time-and-materials or fixed-price contracts.
- Desirable experience includes SAP RISE, SAP BTP, cloud-hosted SAP, SAP security and authorisation design, large-scale bids, automation, analytics, AI-enabled services and formal design authorities.
