Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support complex applications and databases.
- Translate technical specifications into code and deliver scalable cloud-native solutions using backend technologies and AWS services.
- Deploy applications across development, test, and production environments and provide follow-up production support.
- Define and implement automated testing strategies across unit, integration, contract, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Conduct systems analysis, design and code inspections, issue resolution, and technical discussions with internal clients.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, business stakeholders, and geographically distributed cross-functional teams.
- Comply with information technology and information security policies and contribute to continuous engineering improvement.
Requirements
- At least five years of related work experience, including at least three years of development experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Golang, GraphQL, gRPC, AWS, identity and authorization patterns, automated testing, CI/CD tooling, observability technologies, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Proven experience with test automation, TDD/BDD practices, testing strategy, and comprehensive automated test coverage.
- Experience partnering with product, technical, business, and cross-functional teams to deliver global solutions.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and promoting engineering best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of investment management and AI/ML is advantageous.
