Base Salary
$126k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support cloud-native SaaS applications and services.
- Build scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems using microservices architecture.
- Develop and operate services in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
- Deploy and operate production microservices on Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
- Implement service automation, monitoring, observability, and telemetry pipelines.
- Analyze metrics, logs, traces, and alerts to improve reliability and customer experience.
- Handle production configuration, operational readiness, and troubleshooting across application, infrastructure, database, and networking layers.
- Review designs, implementations, test plans, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, security, SRE, DevOps, and customer-facing teams.
Requirements
- A recently completed or soon-to-be-completed master’s degree with zero years of work experience, or a bachelor’s degree with two years of work experience, in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least two years of software engineering experience in a SaaS product company.
- At least two years of hands-on experience deploying and operating production microservices on Kubernetes or AWS EKS.
- Programming experience in Java, Python, or Go and experience implementing backend services and APIs.
- Preferred experience includes public cloud SaaS operations, networking fundamentals, debugging across application and cloud layers, and cloud security or identity management.
- Preferred knowledge includes generative AI, prompt engineering, observability tools, telemetry and service-health systems, distributed data stores, cybersecurity, zero trust, and IoT security.
