Base Salary
$136k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and release software products that address customer needs in semiconductor inspection and metrology.
- Design reusable Python modules and use open-source libraries.
- Develop high-performance computational models using parallel computing frameworks.
- Create custom exporters for observability tools.
- Customize and manage Linux systems, BIOS, disk partitions, RAID utilities, PXE/net boot, systemd, and Linux high availability.
- Configure and monitor InfiniBand, Ethernet, RDMA, and RoCE v2 networks.
- Work with server hardware, GPUs, RAID/HBA controllers, and storage aggregation technologies.
- Model workloads and benchmark performance on x86 hardware platforms.
- Support configuration management, continuous development pipelines, source repositories, and containerized environments.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders while organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree with 0–2 years of related work experience, or a master’s degree with 3–5 years, or a bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years.
- Extensive Python software development experience, including reusable module design and open-source libraries.
- Data science experience developing high-performance computational models.
- Knowledge of MPI/OpenMPI, CUDA, and OpenCL.
- Experience creating exporters for Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one Linux distribution, including SUSE, Red Hat, Rocky, Alma, or Ubuntu.
- Experience with BIOS customization, disk partitioning, RAID utilities, PXE, systemd, and Linux HA.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience configuring and monitoring InfiniBand, Ethernet, RDMA, and RoCE v2.
- Experience with server hardware, GPUs, RAID/HBA controllers, and storage technologies such as Mdraid.
- Strong understanding of the x86 hardware platform stack and demonstrated workload modeling and benchmarking experience.
- Knowledge of PKI and SSL/TLS certificate management is preferred.
- Knowledge of KLA processes and procedures is preferred.
- DevOps experience with Jenkins, Git-based repository software, and Docker is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, organization, multitasking, prioritization, adaptability, and time-management abilities.
