Base Salary
$110k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, automate, secure, and operate scalable cloud platforms across GCP, Azure, and AWS, with emphasis on GCP and Azure.
- Execute re-host, re-platform, refactor, and re-architect cloud migrations while improving automation and security posture.
- Drive application and infrastructure modernization for scalability, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Implement reference architectures, reusable modules, security guardrails, cloud security controls, and governance standards.
- Build secure cloud networking with VPN, Cloud Interconnect, ExpressRoute, and Direct Connect, including segmentation, micro-segmentation, and zero-trust controls.
- Secure and operate containers, Kubernetes, serverless technologies, and microservices.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Azure Bicep/ARM, Google Config Connector, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Build DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, policy enforcement, and compliance validation.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident-response integrations.
- Support FinOps, tagging standards, resource governance, documentation, runbooks, and architecture and security diagrams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with six years of related experience.
- Five years of hands-on cloud platform engineering or infrastructure experience, including ownership and operation of secure production environments.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform, with GCP or Azure preferred and AWS in scope.
- Strong cross-cloud fundamentals and practical knowledge of cloud networking, cloud security, containers, Kubernetes, serverless technologies, and microservices.
- Experience with IAM, encryption, key management, network security, zero-trust principles, cloud governance, monitoring, observability, FinOps, and cost management.
- Experience embedding security into Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines through DevSecOps practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, platform, and security teams.
