Base Salary

$150k - $182k/yr

Responsibilities

Build models and algorithms that power the brokerage marketplace.
Develop tools that help operations teams engage with the marketplace.
Build highly scalable backend microservices using microservice architecture and systems design.
Ship high-quality product features and solve complex problems at scale.
Partner with Product Managers, Designers, UXR, and Data Scientists on algorithmic solutions.
Collaborate cross-functionally, lead projects, and mentor junior engineers.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
Strong problem-solving and coding skills.
Experience with one or more of C#, Java, or Go.
Experience with microservice architecture, systems design, and highly scalable backend microservices.
Preferred: master’s or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred: knowledge of data structures and algorithms, experience shipping product features, and experience handling complex problems at scale.
Preferred: experience with MySQL or Oracle; machine learning, AI systems, or model training pipelines; and React.
Preferred: cross-functional collaboration, project leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and logistics or freight industry knowledge.

Full-time hybrid work arrangement.
