Base Salary
$196k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to engineering delivery for intelligent agent matching, personalized support, routing, and communication channel programs.
- Own and evolve highly available, correct, scalable routing infrastructure, including decision engines, workflow orchestration, and routing rule management.
- Consolidate fragmented routing logic into a centralized, auditable, and maintainable system.
- Design, implement, test, experiment with, and deploy backend systems and AI-driven routing workflow enhancements.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, post-mortems, design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Data Science, Design, and engineering partners across regions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical quality, engineering excellence, and team productivity.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience in service-oriented architectures and backend development.
- Expertise in workflow optimization, scalable backend systems, and flexible architecture.
- Experience designing and iterating on prompt engineering for AI/LLM-driven scenarios.
- Familiarity with RAG patterns, memory routing, and agent planning.
- Proficiency in building backend systems focused on technical quality, efficiency, resilience, availability, performance, and scalability.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s/Ph.D. degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to work across teams and domains.
