Base Salary
$139k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, and optimize scalable services and tools that address performance and monitoring problems.
- Collaborate with Networking teams to build new products and services for developers.
- Develop APIs and control-plane software while helping own product offerings end to end.
- Support existing products and contribute solutions to customer and product pain points.
- Improve tooling and processes for shipping robust, mission-critical systems.
- Help establish development and architecture best practices.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing full-stack applications with databases and APIs.
- Experience leading work across multiple teams to build API contracts.
- Experience deploying and operating Linux, including Ubuntu-based virtual and bare-metal hosts.
- Experience programming in Go and writing unit tests.
- Some experience designing and developing high-performance systems.
- DNS and networking domain knowledge or a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience with cloud development, containerization, and virtualization.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with gRPC, Temporal, and Kafka is preferred.
