Responsibilities
- Develop new features for RBC’s mobile banking application in Swift.
- Apply appropriate design and architectural patterns to support application scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and help ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, testers, UX, security, and fraud teams.
- Continuously improve, simplify, and refactor the application.
- Write code designed for testing and use iOS unit testing frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing iOS applications in Swift.
- Experience with UI development using SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC, MVVM, and iOS application architecture.
- Experience with complex networking requirements, Xcode, Git, and source control tools.
- Understanding of IT standards, UX design, accessibility, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and collaborative communication skills.
- Objective-C experience, banking experience, and mobile payments experience are nice to have.
