Base Salary
$170k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Resolve core service-performance issues at scale
- Build secure and compliant platform products that address customer needs
- Write high-quality, robustly tested code, primarily in Java
- Understand customer problems and develop appropriate solutions
- Document work to support the rapidly scaling company
- Interface with multiple company domains to strengthen the platform
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building production software systems
- Expertise in threading, optimization, performance tuning, and concurrency management
- Deep understanding of Java frameworks including Spring, resiliency, and encryption libraries
- Experience writing scalable, performant, and maintainable code
- Experience with Java 11 or later, JPA ORM mapping, SQL, unit testing, and integration testing
- Proficiency with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code across design, prototyping, development, testing, and iteration
- Passion for AI-driven development and continuously advancing AI skills
- Preferred experience with GCP or AWS
- Preferred experience with Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Preferred experience with BigQuery and Redshift
- Preferred deep understanding of payment systems
- Preferred experience building AI agents for financial or payment platforms
- Familiarity with LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen
