Responsibilities
- Engineer workflows, judgment frameworks, and validation tools for GenAI-first software development.
- Define and evolve GenAI development automation, templates, and workflow patterns.
- Build or specify validation tools that expand what GenAI-first development can reliably automate.
- Design and run experiments that test the limits of the approach and establish success metrics.
- Build compliance, security, and quality validations into the automation.
- Make GenAI-first development practices accessible across engineering teams and incorporate lessons from vertical teams.
- Establish team practices, engagement models, and priorities from scratch.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of prior software engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of experience defining and evolving GenAI development automation, templates, and workflow patterns.
- At least 1 year of experience building, acquiring, and specifying validation tools for GenAI-first development.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and running experiments that define metrics for effectiveness.
- At least 1 year of experience building compliance, security, and quality validations into automation.
- Demonstrated ability to adopt new development paradigms and apply them to real problems, such as GenAI-driven development, infrastructure-as-code, test automation frameworks, or CI/CD transformation.
- Deep domain expertise and clear communication across engineers, engineering leaders, and quality engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area or equivalent industry experience.
- Preferred: fluency with GenAI-first development tools such as AI coding assistants or LLM-driven automation frameworks.
- Preferred: experience in financial services, payments, regulated technology, automated validation, quality engineering, test automation at scale, or establishing a new team or function.
