Responsibilities
- Design data models and architect backend services for complex operational workflows and data ecosystems.
- Build responsive, user-centric web frontends and reliable end-to-end web applications.
- Develop distributed systems, data pipelines, operational dashboards, conversational tools, and AI-powered application features.
- Integrate or build agentic workflows for automated data cleaning, data transformation, and system administration.
- Partner with product managers, designers, domain specialists, and engineers to translate ambiguous workflows into clear software architectures and user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with strong automated test coverage, observability, and monitoring.
- Participate in rapid iteration, code reviews, and full ownership from design through production.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional full-stack or backend software engineering experience delivering end-to-end web applications and distributed systems.
- Ability to work productively across multiple programming languages and frameworks.
- Deep experience designing, modeling, and querying relational and non-relational data systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience designing backend APIs and services and building responsive web frontends using technologies such as React and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI into engineering workflows, including agentic workflows for data cleaning, transformation, and administration.
- Experience building or integrating AI-powered application features such as conversational interfaces, semantic search, or smart analytics dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred experience with internal tools, data platforms, analytics dashboards, and operational, manufacturing, or supply-chain environments.
- Preferred experience deploying autonomous AI agents, LLM orchestration frameworks, or retrieval-augmented generation pipelines in production.
- Preferred familiarity with Docker, CI/CD deployment environments, and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, and OpenTelemetry.
