
Sr. Lead Solution Architect

- Design business-aligned solutions in partnership with product and engineering teams.
- Lead design reviews, architecture discussions, feature planning, and technical decision-making.
- Develop architecture standards, enforce best practices, and oversee software development for non-functional requirements and compliance.
- Advocate for technology investments and prioritize architectural work supporting the Manheim Marketplace.
- Identify high-impact AI use cases and develop scalable solutions involving AI agents, autonomous workflows, and orchestration.
- Assess emerging AI technologies and coordinate with governance on ethical and regulatory adherence.
- Develop reusable AI patterns and frameworks, lead proofs of concept and reference implementations, and mentor engineering teams.
- Create internal documentation and training while bridging business stakeholders and technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of software development experience at mid-to-large companies, or an advanced degree with relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of solution or technical architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, autonomous agents, vector databases, model selection, agent-based architecture, data pipelines, and AI-assisted PDLC.
- At least 3 years of AWS cloud architecture experience.
- Experience applying enterprise patterns to distributed systems, including RESTful APIs, microservices, events, and micro-frontends.
- Strong teamwork, communication, collaboration, technical writing, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred qualifications include legacy-system modernization, conference presentation, external representation, technology mentoring, conflict management, and automotive industry experience or interest.
