Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable, resilient AI solutions using agentic systems, LLMs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Define enterprise-wide technical direction, architecture patterns, integration standards, governance frameworks, and reusable platform capabilities.
- Lead AI-driven legacy modernization through automated code transformation, service decomposition, and continuous optimization.
- Design and implement AI-enabled software development lifecycle practices to improve engineering velocity and quality.
- Establish monitoring, evaluation, responsible AI, and technical standards for enterprise AI systems.
- Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to drive adoption of AI-assisted development and improve system performance and productivity.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and influence over enterprise technology decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, plus at least 15 years of software engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience leading, designing, implementing, and operating distributed systems and large-scale architectures.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining software with Python, Java, or comparable object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud solutions, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Preferred experience with generative AI, agentic systems, LLMs, intelligent automation, modern data architectures, and production-scale autonomous systems.
- Preferred experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, vector databases, RAG, LLMOps, evaluation and monitoring frameworks, and multi-agent coordination.
- Preferred expertise in enterprise data platforms, lakehouse and analytical architectures, semantic modeling, knowledge graphs, graph databases, and AI over enterprise data.
- Healthcare-related experience with FHIR, HL7, claims, clinical, provider, member, benefits, care management, and healthcare analytics data is valued.
