Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, automated security controls for AWS and GCP using infrastructure-as-code.
- Collaborate with teams to embed security into application architectures and deployment workflows.
- Conduct security reviews and perform threat modeling for various initiatives.
- Improve IAM implementations, network configurations, and cloud resource management practices.
- Design integrations with third-party security platforms for vulnerability management and cloud posture monitoring.
- Respond to cloud security incidents and assist in triaging and remediating issues.
- Drive security initiatives from risk identification to solution delivery with high autonomy.
- Implement automated security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in modern DevOps and Kubernetes administration.
- Proficiency in deploying infrastructure through Terraform.
- Experience in maintaining environments compliant with regulatory standards.
- Ability to work with teams to secure their cloud deployments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to helping teams achieve secure outcomes.
- Willingness to take on distinct challenges outside of comfort zones.
- Preferred: Experience with multiple clouds, particularly AWS, GCP, and Azure.
