Base Salary
$101k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop data mappings, transformation logic, and conversion scripts for data ingestion.
- Execute and monitor data ingestions, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Perform database analysis and schema mapping to define transformation logic.
- Restore database copies and manage data environments for conversion activities.
- Serve as a client-facing technical expert throughout engagement stages.
- Identify data conversion requirements when migrating from legacy systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand agency goals and data landscapes.
- Leverage AI tools to optimize data conversion processes.
- Continuously improve conversion quality by generating reusable artifacts.
- Partner with teams to make public safety data accessible and actionable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Bash, GraphQL, and Azure Cloud tools.
- Hands-on experience with database systems and API structures.
- Experience with data-mapping projects for ETL processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage technical projects independently.
- Experience delivering software in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with Records Management Systems or public safety software is a plus.
- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services background check.
