Responsibilities
- Design, develop, validate, test, deploy, and support enterprise software products and services.
- Write high-quality code, conduct source-code reviews, and take ownership of software quality and defect prevention.
- Build enterprise web applications and microservices using Java and J2EE.
- Provide technical leadership for software initiatives, including technology standardization and modernization.
- Coordinate team tasks, track progress, assess technical risks, solve problems, and report status.
- Work with Quality Engineering on test plans and test cases and respond to bug reports and customer escalations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 6–8 years of enterprise product development experience.
- Strong skills in object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, distributed systems, multithreading, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience developing enterprise web applications and microservices with Java and J2EE.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and Angular.
- Experience building and consuming APIs and working with tools such as GitLab.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Oscript and Content Server is a plus.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, authentication mechanisms, load balancers, and AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
