Base Salary
$217k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead high-priority customer technical engagements focused on container and AI journeys and developer workflows.
- Gather customer technical and business goals and create and manage engagement plans across existing and new Docker offerings.
- Oversee rapid prototyping design-partner engagements with Docker engineering and customer teams.
- Create, manage, and deliver custom demos and content aligned with customer use cases.
- Deliver technical enablement and best-practices content to audiences ranging from developers to C-level stakeholders.
- Serve as a regional or area-of-responsibility thought leader for Docker’s field organization.
- Gather field feedback and coordinate with the Field CTO and Solutions Architects to prioritize requests for product and engineering teams.
- Work with product and engineering teams on workflow and feature alignment based on customer use cases and revenue impact.
- Act as customer zero for new Docker product and engineering functionality.
- Support internal and customer technical enablement, including sales enablement for new products and services.
- Educate clients about Docker’s product roadmap and provide product training for users.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience managing customer relationships at both technical and business levels.
- Experience presenting solutions and demonstrations to small and large audiences, virtually and in person.
- Experience working with technical support, product, and engineering teams to improve documentation, enablement, product features, and customer experience.
- Experience developing application code and understanding developers’ day-to-day challenges.
- Ability to solve technical problems and translate customer experience into actionable engineering feedback.
- Experience developing customer collateral and best-practice adoption materials.
- Solid understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures.
- Experience with Docker, container ecosystems, or adjacent technologies is strongly preferred.
- Development, agentic AI development, software development lifecycle, and/or software supply chain security experience is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
