Base Salary
$180k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, iterate, and deploy secure production systems across cloud-native and edge appliance deployments.
- Advise cross-functional teams on infrastructure, security, and deployment practices that work in production.
- Own end-to-end infrastructure outcomes for critical programs and priority infrastructure initiatives.
- Harden the artifact pipeline so identical signed builds run in cloud, high-side, and air-gapped appliance deployments.
- Partner with Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams and mission owners on STIGs, CVE remediation, audit preparation, and operational controls.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience operating production infrastructure in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform, SRE, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles.
- Production full-stack engineering experience, including designing, building, and operating services in a modern backend language such as Go, Python, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Deep production Kubernetes experience covering operators, networking, storage, and multi-cluster operations.
- Expertise with major cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, including designing across providers and deployment profiles.
- Strong application and infrastructure security fundamentals, including identity, network segmentation, secrets management, vulnerability classes, and security judgment.
- Ability to build solutions from scratch, integrate disparate applications, and contribute to existing codebases.
- Experience packaging and shipping workloads into disconnected or air-gapped environments.
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
- Active US SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance is preferred.
- Government cloud expertise, including AWS GovCloud or Azure Government, is preferred.
- Experience with FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, IL6, JWICS, audits, big data, distributed data, or regulated industries is preferred.
