Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps and Platform Engineering practices, standards, tooling strategies, and automation roadmaps for Equities Trading Technology.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release automation, deployment templates, environment management, and automated validation controls.
- Build reusable Infrastructure-as-Code patterns and modules for consistent, auditable, and repeatable provisioning across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, operational health metrics, service-level indicators, and reliability objectives.
- Enable DevSecOps through automated security scanning, policy compliance, validation, governance, and collaboration with Cyber Security teams.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, production readiness, operational assurance, resilience, recoverability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, automation, and operational tooling.
- Experience designing delivery pipelines, infrastructure automation, observability capabilities, and reliability practices.
- Ability to establish engineering standards, reusable tooling, self-service capabilities, and secure delivery controls.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Australia on a permanent basis without restrictions.
- Successful candidates must complete background checks, including reference and police checks.
