Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack .NET solutions for the EY GDS Tax Practice.
- Test and implement solutions throughout the application development lifecycle.
- Estimate technical effort, define work breakdown structures, assess risks, and recommend solution approaches.
- Monitor adherence to methodologies, tools, and KPIs.
- Manage communication and relationships with stakeholders, peers, and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to application development and engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
- Identify problems proactively, evaluate causes and solutions, and lead appropriate resolutions.
- Provide supervision and direction to team members and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; BE, BTech, or MCA degree required.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in full-stack .NET development.
- Experience with .NET, .NET Core, MVC, TypeScript with Angular or Vue, Web API, Entity Framework or ADO.NET, and SQL commands and stored procedures.
- Experience with database performance tuning and exposure to Telerik or Kendo UI.
- Working knowledge of development methodologies and version control using Git or TFVC.
- Exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery, microservices, and the Azure cloud platform is advantageous.
- Strong technical design, development, implementation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Tax or finance domain knowledge is advantageous; a master’s degree and management experience are preferred or a plus.
