Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 production support for critical applications and resolve client software problems.
- Analyze code, architecture, business requirements, and system impacts to troubleshoot issues and identify bugs.
- Implement application enhancements, maintenance changes, design improvements, and client-requested solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and detailed issue resolution while maintaining system data integrity, stability, and performance.
- Own client needs and requests, participate in client issue calls, document communications, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, architects, subject matter experts, and incident management teams.
- Support development meetings, knowledge transfer, research, fact finding, documentation, and change controls.
- Consult on system design, utilization, availability, and product alternatives.
- Maintain knowledge of application modules, transaction processing, financial services, and payment systems.
- Provide client availability and accountability for assigned components, potentially including 24/7 support and use of a company mobile.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of work experience with Java 8 or above, JUnit, Spring Boot, ReactJS, JavaScript, Kafka, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and microservices-based architecture.
- Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with G5, Liquibase, Git, Jenkins, and AWS.
- Previous payment system platform experience is a bonus.
- Knowledge of issuing, authorization, clearing, and settlement payment processes is a bonus.
- Familiarity with the ISO 8583 message format is a bonus.
- Relevant combinations of work experience and education are accepted.
