Responsibilities
- Own complex architectural problems across the platform, including large-scale data synchronization and secure sandbox infrastructure.
- Architect, build, and ship scalable full-stack features using React and TypeScript with a focus on user experience.
- Design systems that synchronize and index large client datasets while enforcing permissions.
- Build infrastructure for reliable and secure processing of millions of LLM calls per month.
- Implement secure code sandbox solutions capable of spawning thousands of sandboxes per day.
- Create infrastructure and tooling for fast integrations with new systems.
- Collaborate on technical roadmaps and architectural decisions.
- Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
- Mentor junior colleagues and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Improve development processes, code quality standards, and team performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a demonstrated full-stack track record, including frontend contributions.
- Production experience with React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with tRPC, Kubernetes, and modern frontend tooling.
- Ability to design, scale, and maintain complex software architectures for high-growth products.
- Experience operating large-scale systems involving data synchronization, high-volume API or LLM processing, or secure multi-tenant infrastructure.
- Experience owning substantial initiatives end to end, from conception through delivery and operation.
- Motivation to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and shape engineering standards.
- Strong product ownership mindset with attention to UX and long-term product success.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Currently based in Munich.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of 70,000 EUR to 90,000 EUR.
- Hybrid work arrangement based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
