Responsibilities
- Develop QA test plans, strategies, and acceptance criteria for built and purchased software solutions.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead QA activities through timely delivery.
- Coach and mentor digital product teams on QA frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Drive clarity, consistency, and quality in requirements across product and platform teams.
- Champion test data creation, mocking, and test automation as preferred testing approaches.
- Provide coaching and feedback to strengthen quality practices and a quality-first mindset.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to embed quality assurance into delivery processes.
- Support decoupled product and platform development and effective interface-level testing.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in performance testing, penetration testing, and high-availability assurance.
- Support engineering managers with reviews and quality discussions involving consultancy partners.
Requirements
- Experience or competence sufficient to own QA strategy and planning across product and platform teams.
- Expertise in quality assurance methods, verification and validation, test automation, and testing practices.
- Ability to coach product management, engineering, and platform teams on quality-focused delivery.
- Knowledge of specialist QA disciplines such as performance testing, penetration testing, and high-availability assurance.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering managers, product and platform leaders, software engineers, and consultancy partners.
