Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical design and development of enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Own solution architecture for modules and domains, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Drive modernization initiatives including monolith-to-microservices migration and cloud adoption.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Review architecture, code, and designs for quality and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide engineers and serve as the technical escalation point for complex production issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure integration and delivery.
- Conduct performance tuning, JVM optimization, and work related to system reliability.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of hands-on experience in Java-based development.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead working with enterprise systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, Angular or React, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Docker, Azure, Kubernetes or AKS, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Experience with performance tuning, JVM optimization, cloud-native design, domain-driven design, or enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, scalable architectures, and product modernization programs.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and SonarQube.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong English communication, analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to work collaboratively.
