Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Oracle APEX applications for online training administration, event reporting, e-learning API, and education entitlement platforms.
- Develop and maintain Spring Boot APIs integrating learning management platforms, training entitlement systems, and downstream data consumers.
- Build and maintain responsive React front-end components for learners and training administrators.
- Write and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and queries for Oracle Database.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and improve learning platform solutions across Oracle APEX, Java, and React layers.
- Consume and produce APIs, support third-party integrations, and apply authentication patterns such as OAuth2 and JWT.
- Collaborate with product owners, system analysts, QA teams, and learning platform stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Create technical documentation, API specifications, and application runbooks; participate in code reviews and delivery ceremonies.
- Identify technical risks and opportunities and take action or escalate issues to support delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience with hands-on delivery across Oracle APEX, Java, and Oracle Database.
- Proven Oracle APEX experience, including interactive reports, forms, REST-enabled objects, authentication, and page-level logic.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including REST API design, service-layer development, JPA/Hibernate, and Oracle Database integration.
- Solid React development skills for building and maintaining front-end components.
- Hands-on experience writing PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and complex queries.
- Experience consuming and producing APIs and familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and third-party platform integrations.
- Familiarity with learning management system APIs, SCORM/xAPI standards, training enrollment workflows, or e-learning content delivery platforms.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines, branching strategies, sprint-based delivery, and advanced English communication.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Thought Industries, Docebo, Cornerstone, SCORM, xAPI, Learning Record Store integrations, Oracle APEX 22.x or later, Oracle EBS Education Services, Azure DevOps pipeline configuration, microservices architecture, API gateway patterns, Next.js, or component libraries.
