Responsibilities
- Own the API Explorer and API Designer tools.
- Manage the OAS pipeline for parsing, validating, and rendering OpenAPI specs.
- Define the technical vision for API tooling as the landscape evolves.
- Enhance the developer experience by focusing on usability.
- Ship meaningful improvements that customers notice.
- Define a technical roadmap for OAS-powered surfaces.
- Make architectural decisions on evolving and reimagining tools.
- Stay informed about trends in the API tooling landscape.
Requirements
- Deep familiarity with OpenAPI / Swagger.
- Strong experience in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with API explorers or API clients.
- Understanding of authentication flows like OAuth and API keys.
- Knowledge of REST API design patterns.
- Familiarity with JSON Schema and validation systems.
- Comfort debugging real API requests.
- Familiarity with frontend systems like React is a plus.
- Experience designing developer-facing tools is a big plus.
